Brand DNA
This is where you teach Blost who you are, who you write for and in what voice. It is the basis of every article. Where to find it: Settings → Brand DNA.
1
Industry and Target audience
A short, specific description of what you do and for whom.
Tip: Two or three sentences are enough. The more precise, the better the topics and tone.
2
Main topics
The topics Blost writes articles about. The first three (highlighted) get priority in the next articles.
Tip: Type a new topic in the “+ Add topic” field and press Enter to add it. Put the important ones first.
3
Voice & tone and Primary language
The style and the language the articles are written in.
Tip: Choose the voice you also use on your own website.
4
Instructions for Blost
Free-text requests that Blost takes into account in every article.
Tip: Write what to avoid (e.g. don’t promise prices) and what to emphasize.
Step by step →5
Brand appearance
Logo and main color for your blog on Blost hosting.
Tip: Upload your logo and pick your brand color.
Common mistakes
- A change only applies to new articles. It does not rewrite existing ones.
