Publishing

This decides when and how Blost publishes articles: on its own, or after you approve them first. Where to find it: Settings → Publishing.

1
Auto-publish
When on, Blost publishes articles on its own. When off, every article waits as a draft and we let you know by email.
Tip: In the first weeks, switch it off and read the articles until you trust the style.
Step by step →
2
Publishing days
Choose the days of the week when articles are created and published.
Tip: Fewer but regular articles beat many scattered ones. For 3 articles a week, choose the 3 a week (Mon–Wed–Fri) button.
Step by step →
3
Auto-publish time
Once a day, early in the morning (around 07:00 Hungarian time), Blost checks and publishes the article prepared for that day. You cannot set the exact minute, so one article goes out every day.
Tip: You can also change the date and time of a single article in the Calendar or in the article editor.
4
Send article as Word (.docx)
You also get every article as a Word file attached to the morning email, so several people can read it through.
Tip: Useful when approval is not just one person’s job.
5
Other: AI-generated label, Powered by Blost link
You can mark that an article was written with AI, and the Powered by Blost link can be shown.
Tip: The AI-generated label makes your content transparent to your readers.
Common mistakes
  • You switched off auto-publish, but an article was already scheduled: Blost will not publish it on its own, you have to publish it manually.
  • A draft also counts toward the monthly article limit.
  • No approval email arrived: check your Notifications settings and your spam folder.

Glossary

Draft: finished article, waiting for your approval.
